"THE MODEL & THE PAINTER"


Some Photographers include this section as part of their Contract or Agreement form. Wherever its placement is, we can all agree that it is always best to know what you are getting into before agreeing to anything, especially when it comes to how your images are used when making a transaction with a professional Photographer. I have decided to make this specific — lengthy but necessary — section available to the public so that you, the Client, are clear with the usage of your images. It is my hope that this gives you a well-informed decision before you "Book a Session" with me.


"When booking a Photographer you are also booking an Artist, and we Artists love to publicly showcase our work since we take pride in it."


I believe Portrait Photography is a two-way street between the Client & the Photographer, or as I like to think of it: the Model & the Painter. Your role as the Model/Client is researching different photographers, their artistic style as well as offerings, then finally choosing who to entrust to take your photograph. My role here as the Photographer/Painter is to provide you with a clear, safe and professional space where we can both be creative, and make beautiful images.


Below you will find my Terms & Conditions concerning the usage of the most important asset in our transaction: the images. 📷

TERMS & CONDITIONS for

THE Public use of images

(PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)


The TERMS used:

  • The Client - refers to you (her/his/their); the person booking the service.
  • The Photographer - refers to me, Joseph "Jay" Suasin; the person providing the service and owner of "Portraits by Jeyeyjey".
  • Session Images - refers to any images that are taken and/or retouched from the Client's photo session with the Photographer.
  • Personal Use - refers to any of the Client's personal accounts & collaterals; any digital media, social media, or any physical/printed items.
  • Business Use - refers to any of the Photographer's business accounts & collaterals of "Portraits by Jeyeyjey"; any digital media, social media, or any physical/printed items.


The CONDITIONS:

  1. The Client has the right to post, share and use her/his/their session images for any of her/his/their Personal Use (such as on any of the Client's personal digital media, websites, social media channels, print items, as well as on any of the Client's portfolio).
  2. The Photographer has the right to also post, share and use the Client's images for any of the Photographer's Business Use (such as on any of the Photographer's digital media, websites, social media channels, print items, as well as on any of the Photographer's portfolio).
  3. The Client and the Photographer agrees to respect each other's roles in the process, and work together in creating images that meet the Client's needs while also reflecting the Photographer's artistic style.
